I have never blanched my squash. I just slice and freeze. I do not freeze zucs except dehydrated to use in soups and stews.

Around here its squirrels take a bite and the ants take advantage. If I don't remove the ones the squirrels have damaged daily I have ants everywhere in my strawberries.
