Do You have To Deal With Rush Hour traffic ?

Yes she is now. When the EMS arrived with the ambulance they said her heartbeat was a 4. Yikes. After a nitro and medicine at the hospital then she was in takeo cardio which is when your heart beat keep racing (?). She was in so much pain as of late she just stopped moving. She is now in a...

Do You have To Deal With Rush Hour traffic ?

This post was coincidental. After posting how traffic doesn't really affect me I got news that Mama was taken to a large hospital in a large city and I had to negotiate the traffic that I usually don't bother with because I just plan to go a different time of day or go around the worse of it...

    New house, new garden.

Well we finally got moved from that rat infested place. We didn't even keep our sofa and loveseat for fear we would bring along a hitchhiker but took them to the dumping station. Our house here has a large backyard. There is a good size raised bed in the back (12x12 approximately) but it is...

    2017 kiwis

We cleaned our freezer and fridge freezer top out when we moved to make it lighter. So much stuff that was unrecognizable. I always think I'll remember what was what so I'm the world's worst at marking my goods. The same when I can. It's really hard to tell one jelly from the other quite often.

Do You have To Deal With Rush Hour traffic ?

We live in a town of around 3000 people and they are mostly out of town. Our house we just moved into is one block away from main street and the courthouse is about 50 yards away. In fact yesterday I needed to be in court and it took not even 5 minutes to walk there. So we don't really have rush...

    Wasp Sting

DH got wasp stung when he was outside. Now his hand is swollen and burning. I put some aloe with burn relief on it. I had him swallow a benadryl tablet and ice the sting. He just got a sting on his neck last week! Does anyone know something that works quick?

    Baymule's 2017 Garden Thread

Interesting that it made more meal than there was measure of corn kernels or is that two separate things? I've never eat fresh ground wheat or corn but I'm sure it has more flavor than the stuff that's been sitting around for weeks or months.

    What are you canning?

If I get some cucumbers I'm going to have to make bread and butter pickles. The Wildbunch has ate through half of mine already.

    What are you canning?

Watch Linda's Pantry canning videos on YouTube. It's not me, a different Linda. She gives very easy, precise directions. Watch a few videos and you will realize how easy it is.

    Edible cherries?!

Well grandson and I picked a bowlful of those little plums. I was hopeful they could be pitted like a cherry but the skin is too tough and it definitely wouldn't make good cobblers like the tame ones. I froze them on a cookie sheet but will put in plastic bags. I'm going to juice them all and...

    Edible cherries?!

I believe @Pulsegleaner is right about them being plums. I have two of these trees. They produce a small, flavorful fruit but mine are really tart. They make great jellies though. I may try to can some for cobblers if it's not too much trouble pitting. We love plum cobblers. I just can them in a...
