AeroGarden good or bad and why

I bought a desk fan for that today. I hate damp off. I also drilled some holes in the plastic lid for my seed starting trays to help air flow. I put a couple seeds in to see how they do.

I do have a small simple hydroponic garden but i have never thought of the aerogarden so curious to know what tha aerogarden is. The photographs here indicates that the eggs and hen are there so this kind of a garden is called as aerogarden.
