She’ll be two weeks old tomorrow and as of last night is one ounce above her birthweight. Sadly she is still very small and they have a few tests the want to do before she can come home. Best case scenario she comes home in 2-3 weeks worst case is mid August 5084DD4E-BAEA-48EC-88E1-900E4AF7696C.jpeg

it took me quite some time, i was 2lbs6oz and had bronchitis and pneumonia and got below 2lbs before i finally got better. back then they had incubators, but they didn't have much else. they kept my cart by the nurses station because i had a habit of stopping breathing and they'd kick it or rattle it as they walked by.

i hope the tests all come out ok...

She a precious bundle of joy. Looks like she's a fighter. Praying all her tests come back fine. How much did she weigh at birth?

For being such a tiny little thing she certainly has a lot of hair. She's beautiful, and like Mary said, she must be a fighter. I hope she gets strong and gets to go home with you soon.
