Mary, could you post a pic of the worms you found? Somebody here could probably help you with the ID.

The ones I referred to are fat dirt colored worms (actually caterpillars) over a inch long. Here is a picture of what they look like..

Mary if you really want to know set up a trail cam, hunters use them to see what games around at night.

Nyboy, I don't have one nor want to invest in one. Besides I don't think it will show tiny things that I suspect are the culprits.

I'm tempted of getting some more Sluggo plus and really adding a lot more this time. We'll see.
