Todays small harvest I picked before the rain hit. We’re already close to an inch of rain here and it’s not supposed to let up until tomorrow. Hoping all the tomatoes don’t split with this rain.

What a beautiful gladiola! You should post that in the What's Blooming thread. We have been here 7 years and I don't have flower beds. Something about dogs that love to dig craters and sheep that graze the yard and chomp on everything. Plus, channeling all my energies into the vegetable garden and trying to get grass established for the sheep and horses.

Basketball practice?

:) In your weather post, I'm just shaking my head. Alabama is a long way across the continent. If things will find the balance we can hope for ...

I stopped at the distant garden, yesterday. Checking my little sprinkler on a hose from the end of the line of big sprinklers on metal pipes. It sometimes becomes clogged with debris. This isn't the time to have that problem!

It's good that you can harvest nice veggies and fruit.

Lol didn’t mean to add that. That was from a trip to the lake this weekend. Some of the youth from church were hitting a volleyball around.

Haven’t gotten much of anything done earlier this week because of the rain and didn’t do anything today because I ran out of time. I went blueberry picking in the morning and ran out of time before church in the evening. I haven’t had the time or the energy to weed and it’s getting depressing. I’m going to let one row of bush beans go to seed and the first planting of corn and sunflowers are starting to tassle and bud so I’m letting them go to in a attempt to get a handle on the rest of the garden. Unfortunately it’s looking like it may rain for two days straight :th
