North Alabama is pretty country. My husband is from Florence, but has been in Texas a LOOOOOOONG time!

Hit a dog on the interstate earlier and feel awful

I hit a dog once in a neighborhood. I wasn't moving that fast but it ran out between two parked cars. Nothing I could do but yeah, you feel awful.

Spent about 5 hours out in the garden today. Mostly trying to finish stuff up and prep for the rain that starts tomorrow. Weeded 3 and a half rows of corn dug the last of the potatoes and the onion. Picked squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, the first Shelly beans and went blackberry picking for the first time this summer. The sunflowers are finally taller than me. I think they are about 5ft now.
