that is why planting a diversity of crops is important as you really can't predict what the weather and conditions might be. staggered plantings for some crops can also help.
Yeah but... But what? I don't know, I forgot what I was gonna say 😁

Should probably start fall veggies inside this week. We had good cabbage year last year. 90 day Brunswick for kraut was awesome. But 120 day long island improved Brussels didn't have enough time to make before getting clobbered with freezing temperatures. Going to try 90 day Brussels this year.

Memory from early November last year, finding a cabbage patch kid in the garden πŸ˜‚

Awesome day today πŸ‘ late last week I took farm truck into town. Looked down at the temperature and it was running hotter than normal. Every since I've had farm truck it ran a consistent temperature. So I pulled into the first auto parts store popped the hood and discovered farm truck low on coolant. Humm where did the coolant go?πŸ€” Pulled the dip stick, it didn't go in the oil, phew that's good πŸ‘. Bought a gallon of antifreeze and topped off the reservoir, which got me back to the farm.

But I seen farm truck leaking, uggg... I was hoping it would be something simple like the lower radiator hose but nope it's the water pump. So I put on a new water pump today, not a big deal, pretty simple actually. The original water pump lasted 279,540 miles. I think that's pretty doggone good πŸ‘

Water pump is under there πŸ˜‚

New water pump bolted to the block, life time warranty. Farm truck is officially an antique this year. We'll see how long this one lasts πŸ‘
