City People Afraid of Cornfields

NYboy, look at the top of the page, under the title, and above your post, on the left it says"go to first unread" and on the right it says "watch thread" somewhere in that space should be something like "thread tools" that only shows on the original posters computer. Click that and you should see something relating to editing the title.

Red it is funny one of the people lives in a very dangerous neighborhood and walks around at night, but is afraid of a cornfield.

Silly city people. There are more perverts and illegal gun carriers in the city and suburbs than in the country, where we carry our guns seriously!!
I avoid the corn bc of snakes and coyotes.

I think it's a few things...

1) the fact that they can't see over it

2) it's orienting because the rows go on & on & on

3) the wind blows the leaves rustle and you can't hear anything except that

I've been turned around in a big patch of corn and it's disorienting. However I've worked in Detroit and Ill take a cornfield over that nonsense every time.
