I may need a measure of solace over the next couple of days. The weather may not happen as predicted – altho little moisture was promised. Our cloudy, rainy days are certainly cloudy but the sprinkles haven't amounted to much. A 90% chance of rain today? I'm looking at the radar map and wondering where it is coming from ...?
There is some chance that the mountains have or will gain some snow. That would be great and, hopefully, heralds a good snow season and replenishment of lakes, rivers and aquifers. With record dryness, if clouds, sprinkles and wind just bring frigid temperatures, it will be disappointing. I suppose that I can make use of the days with garden clean-up. Sure. Easing into Winter, none of that having kids out trick or treating in the snow — that would be okay. Patience.
