thank you everyone,,
today of my last mini vacation back to the grind tomorrow....
anyway it rained last night and this morning,so was not going to play in the garden finishing up, have all next week to finish.
but had time to start planting in the raised beds
with all the things that going on here had to come up with a plan on keeping track on what was planted,
so come up with this, hope it helps a few of you out there...
stapled a twine across the bed and with-in each area planted a certain type of seed
and then marked on the edge of the bed with a number or letter and wrote it down on paper so i can remember what i planted.
the main garden this year is going to be for canning with some fresh veggies.
the raised bed area will have some root cellaring veggie's, but it's mainly going to fresh eating.
today planted
lettuce
bok choi
carrots
radishes
mnnors lettuce
green onions
instead of planting all the seeds at once planted a third today and in a couple weeks plant some more and again in 6 weeks, plus have some started inside.
and saving some for a fall crop.
so by staggering the plantings you will have continuous fresh veggies through out the season, instead having a mountain of veggies and wondering what to do with them...
