It's late, but better than never or fail.

Lisianthus from seeds! So far, I only see white-color ones, but some didn't show any sign of color yet.

I will sow the rest of seeds in November or December so I can have them as cut flowers next year.

The first frost warning arrived, so I harvested most of the Dahlias, Zinnias, and Roses in the garden.
Now, flowers are everywhere in the house.

Not directly related to the cut flower garden
I just put all the seeds that I don't want to grow seriously (sow and transplant) or aged seeds into a container. Next year, I want to have a 'surprise-me-if-you-can' patch where I will directly sow them.

Circle of life

I cut back Aster, Snapdragon, and some Marigold and brought them to the compost. As we have a lot of rain in the coming two weeks, those plants with very compacted flowers would have molds soon.

The compost heap needs them, and the space can be used by other MUMs that are going to blossom soon.

Meanwhile, I dug out some more tubers from Calla Lilies - they had a good growing season, I believe.

Look at them, so many new tubers.
Next year, I will have a lot of calla Lilies for my bouquets.
