MontyJ, that is a fantastic idea! From what I read it was vaccuum, soapy water, or call the Orkin Man (which I prefer not to do). I really like your simple solution! Tangle Foot spread on to plastic wrap taped around the jar might catch more at a time. You are so smart!

Those EVIL prehistoric creatures!!! sound like small helicopters in the nite and spray when you kill them! GROSS!!:sick:sick
What is the wood board method? My dog eats them if they are dead :( I have a bottle of dish soap ready for them in the garden but I fear I have been invaded!!!:hide:somad
The wood block method goes like this; catch a stinkbug-put it on a wood block. Take another wood block and smash it.

the wood block method works similar to the shoe method at my house,
1. see Offending bug, :ep :somad
2. swat Offending bug to ground, :he :smack
3 crush Offending bug with anything available :hide :clap
4. watch dog consume dead Offending bug :drool (we need puppy icons)

This is my very first post (hello), but we were absolutely plagued with stink bugs last year and I thought I'd share our solution.

We actually found the answer one night when the power went off. We lite our lamps and candles and it was like they couldn't fly into them fast enough. When the power came back on, a desk lamp with a dish of soapy water underneath worked just as well.

I despise those things!

Good luck :)
