That elk and its setting are sign of real talent, and mrs. ranch's quilts look impressive at the very least.

We have some talented members here, I have to look through my photos to see what I have to post if anything lol.

BTW, that mount is a Sika deer (not an elk). Sika deer are native to Japan & Southern Sibera. They are considered an 'exotic', thus they are open season here in Texas due to them competing for forage with our native whitetail population. Same goes for the Axis deer.

I thought it was kind of small to be an elk lol. We don't get sikas up here, we do have elk ,moose ,white tail , mule deer, bears, and pronghorns east and south of here. We are also are known as the Bigfoot hotspot lol
