I think your right my friend is 69 the power one is much easier, I am doing the
fence of wood posts and chicken wire stapled to the posts with 2 x 6 x 8 along the bottom
and top for more stability and they are are all painted white.

You are going for pretty. I like that.

I went for easy and all-in-one-day. For this, I didn't even put posts at the corners. So far, so good, as the fencing is 4 years old now and all the corners look straight and plumb. Of course, no one is fighting to get in or out of the garden area.

When we built the fence to the horse pasture, we used all wooden posts with wood fencing in white. Yes, that looked much nicer and impressive for one lone horse.

Part of the fun here is we have so many things to do here as this is our first spring in our lovely home.
allot of the issue has been the property is fenced in field wire we have a little dog Ticha that can walk right through
it so either hover over him all the time finally have chicken wire run along most that stops him.
Rented a post whole digger this weekend to do the garden posts all 3 inch round wood posts,
painted 2 x 6 x 8 white to attach between each post at the bottom next month if the money holds out
we will also run the same.wood at the top of the fence for the garden. I may even see the light
at the end of the tunnel to get the ground tilled and planted at least start plants. :idunno

Started plants are the easiest way to get a garden started, especially when you have so much going on to get you garden up and growing!

Well garden posts are all in now, tomorrow we pick up three new pullets the
other thing that makes me get up each morning. Wednesday I will actually place my wire
as we did pick up 3 boxes of staples for me and set my gates in the garden.
The neighbor brought me a greenhouse the setup but never used it is a duplicate
of mine semi hard plastic bought from harbor freight 6 x 8 both so a bit of
modification I will have 6x16 greenhouse

6 x 16 might have been enough for a longer time. 6x8 started out too small. Great idea, fantastic neighbor!

They started nice, the day I was running chicken wire along our field wire
she stopped asking about getting eggs we talked about life she said she
had this but wasn't going to use it and she would give it to me I took
a 18 count egg and talked to her son that I would like to do a trade
if she wanted.

Whew! Yesterday I finally started putting the chicken wire along the bottom of the garden fence. That is more of a job than I imagined (of course). Even with yoga and tai-chi, I am not used to standing on my head that much.
And I got to see what a pitiful job I did putting up the original fence.
Getting ready to get back out there this morning. It's a beautiful day and Penny is at day care, so I don't have to worry with her. (She is not to be trusted off the leash, so it's a constant scramble keeping her happy and safe)
I would love to have the whole yard fenced. Believe it or not, DH has mentioned it. We'll see....
