A Friend of mine brought me some pine cones from Wash. State. And they were just enough to get this project finished!

Sooo cool, it looks really nice. :thumbsup I would love to make a few insect hotels in my yard.

I put it where I did to block the view from the back of the house, to the place where I keep my straw bales, that I use for chicken bedding in the coop. It sits between the truck of a pine tree and a wooden fence.

If you look carefully at the base of the pine tree, you will see the "doorbell" for my Fairy Door.

Not very long...about 4 hours.... I had trouble with the roof over the door. I am in the process of planning two different types of "Fairy" dwellings in my back garden. One I am thinking of doing a sort of partial underground house with a sod type roof.
