?? Freezing Brussels Sprouts...

I froze a bunch of my Brussels sprouts this fall. I followed the ball directions, of blanching for 3 minutes, cooling and freezing. I am pretty sure this is the procedure I used last harvest, as well. These taste terrible!!! I mean, rotten, awful...I steamed them to blanch, instead of putting them down in the water- do you think that could have made the difference??
I can't find any info on canning them, either. Is it just not worth it, to grow extra?? These were utterly wonderful out of the garden...

Sorry to hear the brussel sprouts didnt turn out good. That was work to can them I am sure, then not be able to eat them would be frustrating. I hope someone has an answer for you.
