If you can't find someone to cut it for you. Go buy a cheap sabre saw and cut your own. It will be slow, not the best or easiest way but can be done and cheap. Take your time, it will be safe.

I think Red was graciously offering to cut one out of her oak for him.
I thought the same thing. Also figured since Nyboy is so nice to a lo of people and sending them things, that someone would offer to do it for him. I know I would if I had the saw and knew how to do it.

Under 12 inches, I traced inside of barrel. Trouble is need hardwood, Home depot has oak, whats a bandsaw?
There is a lot of wiggle room when saying something is under 12 inches. Since we wouldn't want the press-plate to wiggle all that much, I would need a more exact measurement.

For example: "It needs to fit into an apple press that is 12 inches in diameter." Then I can whittle a fraction of an inch from the circle and voila! have the piece done in a jiffy. I just need to know the desired size.
