That reminds me of walking to the mailbox on my gravel road after a snow. I'd walk where the snow had not been turned to ice by traffic. Much better footing.

do you really want to know how many spiders i have in my room right now?
it wouldn't matter as i couldn't tell you, but it's in the thousands.
none of them bite me.
most are in containers with covers over them so they don't get out. the ones that aren't in containers are called cellar spiders, they are very wispy and frail things that tend to find corners or places to put their webs. not much web too them either, but enough to catch what ever they like to eat. mostly i find pill bugs.
the once in a while jumping spider is usually noticed and put outside.
