I miss my Nancy Rose

Is she gone somewhere?
No I am awayIs she gone somewhere?
That is horrible.I just got news of one of my classmates from scent detection was hurt in a severe dog attack. Oh my gosh, I have never seen so much damage on a human body from a dog like that, legs front and back, both arms and her back. Nothing to the face thank heavens. The back of one of her thighs is nearly jet black, with the characteristic puncture marks of canines. The most classic bite, from behind. I have never seen a wound like that, and the teeth drag marks around her knee are just wow. She runs a rescue so I'm guessing she went to a house bust somewhere and one of the dogs got her. Apparently if others hadn't been present to intervene it would have been a fatal encounter. The dog must have had major commitment because he got in a lot of damage. What adds to the shock is she runs a rescue for very difficult dogs, various shepherd breeds generally, she knows what she's doing since she's been at this for years. So shocking.
I hope she recovers soon and had treatment.I just got news of one of my classmates from scent detection was hurt in a severe dog attack. I don't know Marie, but I would guess so. I can't imagine there would be any other decision they'd come to. What she must be going through, she's spent over a decade finding homes for dogs on euthanasia lists, or in remote territories starving, flying them out and rehabbing them when necessary so they can someday find a home, all at personal cost to herself. Like so many who work in rescue, and long before this happened, she had said that rescue has broken her soul in a way that can never be repaired. She's just seen too much that will haunt her forever. And now this. What terrible luck.I hope she recovers soon and had treatment.
Will this dog be put to sleep?
Just heartbreaking.That is horrible.![]()
