Hello from the Northwoods of Minnesota

All those places. I was born right here in South-est, central-est Wisconsin and here I expect to stay. Both Mom and Dad came from Oconto in Northern Wisconsin just a skip and a jump from Green Bay (Packer Country before the Packers).

DH came from a poor family. That explains a lot about the why of him. His father had to go to work and so quit school in sixth grade. His mother was very proud of the fact that she finished 8th grade.

In many ways, the good old days were not all that good.

My father still lives in the house my grandfather built after arriving from Italy.

I lived in La Feria and had to go to Brownsville to shop.

Haha, Get this, I was born in Napoleon Ohio! But lived in La Feria until I was around 5-6 yrs. old and then we moved to Fresno, Ca. Lived there until I was 25 and move to the SF area.

Wondering what the weather is like in Minnesota right now....

No one in the weather bureau cares.

It isn't much different from Wisconsin, although the northern parts of both did get snow this week.
