Oh, I am so sorry. I am glad you are ok, but what a horrible experience to have to go through. I hope your insurance covers it. :hugs

I believe the words to avoid is "rising water". In some twisted, perverse way, the insurance companies weasel out of paying claims because your car was fine, but the RISING WATER ruined it. Check around with people you know who may have had claims like this before.

A friend drove his jeep across a creek and got stuck. The creek was rising, he barely got out and the insurance company denied his claim.

So glad you are OK. Were you driving the car and got stuck in the rising water, or was it parked there and you were elsewhere?

The picture with the sign is a poignant one.

Kassaundra, I think you should try NOT to have too many pictures like that from your personal experiences. It all looks like a big problem to be so closely involved. I'm sorry.

Wishing You the Best in future visits by a less violent Mother Nature.

If your insurance does not cover that, go to your state capital and have all required insurance laws for vehicles vetoed and annuled.

Bummer but I'm glad you're OK. When I lived in Oklahoma it was always in Green Country around the Ouachitas. The mountains drain faster so there is a lot less chance of flooding.
