Yeah, Dew told me about him. I don't have a FB page. First, I don't care for a lot of social media. Yes, TEG is social media, but I don't share my entire life with you. Heck, if I did, most of you would unfriend me

well, except for Baymule, because Texans think alike

(I thought the carrots were funny too, Bay!) Second, I don't need the drama that social media brings with it. As someone else said, (Journey, I believe) people will say things on FB that they won't say to your face. I find that true all the time. People will say things to Dew on FB that they would never dare say in my presence. Mostly her family.
Anyway, Chuck is an @ss. I have met him once and immediately didn't like him. He is one of those people that is always right and if you don't believe it, just ask him. Dew's brother is the same way. Neither of them have the guts to say anything to my face, but both also know I don't do facebook. Dew usually hides stuff like this from me because I can be...shall we say...confrontational? hostile? defensive?
I think defensive fits best. I won't hunt Chuck down and beat him with a baseball bat (as badly as I would like too). But, I will defend what I do, on my property, with my own time. Of course, if he ever steps over the line and insults Dew directly, the baseball bat will come into play. It will never come to that though. He's a wanna be redneck coward. He's all talk, no action.
I think his whole problem is that his life is "perfect" as he perceives it. Mommy and Daddy have given him everything so he has never had to work to actually make it through life. His life comes from a store. Dew's brother is the same way. He loves to talk about
his garden, even though he has nothing to do with it. Dew's father plants it and tends it.It's funny that Chuck has nothing to say to Dew's brother about his garden, (they are best friends, after all).
So, my advice to Dew is this; I made a list of everything we grew and harvested as well as projected harvest. I know what we paid for seeds and chicks/feed. I came to a conclusion...we are ahead of the game, so lets flaunt it. Here are my numbers:
I told her to post this on Facebook:

Where did we find such a great deal???
In our own back yard.
Sure, Im fudging a little on the eggs. Well give some away. The point remains though; we profit from our garden.

That pretty much says it all.
