I saw that. I have started/stopped online orders with both this week. I guess I'll make a commitment this weekend bc I am pretty sure it will sell out, what with new "scared" gardeners thinking that they can feed themselves solely from a garden!

OMGosh! I would love to do dahlias, but I would have to dig them up every Fall, bc we are too cold for them to stay in the ground! You and Phaedra are tempting me...
Maybe you can try what I've done this year, planting them in the (bottomless) containers. My plan is to cut them short after the first frost and directly bring all the containers into the garage, or the tool shed. Then, I will check their status, divide, and pre-sprout them next March or April.

So far, my potted Dahlias are doing very well.
