Oh dear... that is a sticky situation. I sure would try to figure out future problems without her assistance! No point in a family feud though...

Amzuka, for now, I'd say it was wrong of her to do that and is very frustrating for you. Have a glass of wine and contemplate that she gave you her son. Years from now, it won't really matter and it gets easier to let some things go.

For years I wasn't accepted by my mil. Now she has alzheimers and she is so sweet and loving to me. It's sad but I've learned to let the past go and live in the present.

Thanks you guys. :) It's small potatoes really (at least she spared those! ;-) ) But it feels good to get it off my chest and get a few virtual hugs from my gardening friends.

I am a MIL now and I am very aware of NOT being the MIL that everyone dreads. I had one of those until I divorced her spawn of Satan physco son. Gee, wonder where he got it from?????? :lol:
