Life around Garden and Café

Cute sign and plant stand! Do you create your own designs for signs, seed packets, etc?
Yes i do 🥰

I just packed some chive seeds to share tomorrow.

I also created QR codes for plants so people can get some basic information.

You astonish me, making your own QR codes!
Dear Bay,
It's a bit tedious, but not too complicated - also it can save a lot of time and effort for me to explain in a language i am much less capable of. The most difficult step might be deciding to do so, but after the template is built (also AI helps), just repeat copy and paste - finger exercises. :p

I also use this method to establish the ingredient information on the price tag, so people who have allergy concern can quickly check when necessary. This reduce the communication friction, the local authority can also quickly do their document check - i just need two pages of QR codes for food items I usually make, instead of printing a lot of papers for audit.

I did a lot of cleaning and rearrangements these two weeks.
First, the small path next to the house. It's basically just an additional passage to the garden, and we didn't think too much of using it.

However, after opening the cafe, i spent more time in the frontyard and here. The observation helps me 'see' it again.

This wall is facing east, so it has direct sunlight till about 1pm, pretty nice for some plants. Last year, I already moved some plastic planters here, and they did nice jobs.

This year, i pushed a bit further.

Cleaning, cleaning, and cleaning

The sunny front end is for plants and us to enjoy the morning sunlight, and the other end is for tool storage.

I asked myself, if this is the only spot you can use as a garden, are you satisfied with the setting?

So far so good, we enjoy it.
