Debbi Downer strikes again
My son's father- in law is a layer and owns a law firm with 23 lawyers . Son's wife's brother and sister are lawyers. Guess where holiday and other get together conversations turn to. A tummy ache or a boo boo may not result in a law suit, but when something that is just a little more serious many people file a law suit and someone just might have to pay up and often big time. :caf

Probably not a lot of lawyer jokes at those family gatherings.

There are poisonous plants everywhere. Yes, it's a scary world!!

Cherry trees are toxic, not the fruit obviously but the twigs and branches.
Every part of a rhodie is toxic, and you don't have to ingest a lot for it to be fatal. Same for azaleas.
Then there's the one you see planted all along CA highways, Oleander.

Lily of the Valley, Foxglove, Larkspur, Chrysanthemum, Hydrangea, Daffodils, Mountain Laurel,....and MORE! Most gardens have something that could be toxic.

Maybe the world would be a little safer if there weren't so many lawyers.

Thistle ... In years gone by, people settled their disputes with fights, murder, duals and deadly family fueds. Today, many turn to lawsuits instead. There wouldn't be a need for lawyers if people wouldn't be so sue happy at every turn. So , go back to the old ways ? Also, why do nurseries knowingly propogate, advertise, and sell the poisonous plants in the first place. :idunno

You're right Bob. Things are definitely better now. Now you can spill hot coffee in your lap and get a million dollar award for your ineptitude.

See, I feared that someone who got ahold of that breadfruit might attempt to mutiny and throw off legal authority!

And, it's come to it mate!

Prithee, don't sell us to th' cap'n of th' next ship that sails!

Well thank you for your advice and may follow it ... now going to a major fast food chain restaurant to order a large cup of coffee at their drive up window, then when the lid accidently comes off and spills the HOT coffee on belly causing great pain and embassment, then will sue and collect $ 1.5 billion. ( who needs the lottery that is only for $ 1.4 billion now ) ;)
