The week end before last we had 18 inch snow fall in one night.....and yesterday here in Northern Michigan it was 60 degrees......I'm hoping this very unusual weather stays for a long time. I've got about 40-50 lambs expected this next month and shortly after that...about 2,000 Dahlia tubers to plant..... I love Spring!

A neighbor gave me about 30 a few years ago and I diligently planted them in spring and dug them up in the fall. Only 1 bloomed once. One whole flower. I said screw it after that. Not worth it. Are you really going to dig them up in the fall? Or do you know of some other trick to keep them from freezing in winter?
Walked up to place a letter in the mail box(1/2 from house)
I hope it gets that warm up here next week. Good luck Swampducks on the planting, I was thinking on doing some tomatoes also today.
