My strange remuddled house

So is building, @thistlebloom. We were living in town when we started building this house. The school told us daughter couldn't go to our school unless we lived in the district so we moved into the basement. Building took so much longer when we lived right here than it had driving back and forth.

DH would come home from work and "just be too tired" to work upstairs. The neighbor had more weekend projects for DH once we were living here as well. It seemed the work of finishing went so much slower once we were living in the basement.

Yeah,.....OSB on the bathroom walls. Then, they were stained...brown. Ick. the small cabinet at the end of the tub....jutted out into the toilet area. A small toilet rug...would not lay flat. It curled up the wall of the cabinet.
That bathroom ...just to make it clean, fixed and useable....took 2 months of work. I just ended up painting all of the OSB ...and the floor..with KILZ original.
What you don't see......the rotted 12"x12" vinyl tile flooring, over the hard board, over the 1/2" sub floor. :th

I have to srt through my magazine collection sometimes. It gets too big and threatens to take over a room. so I take my big wide sharpie marker...and write "KEEP" over the front cover.
That way, I know at a glance if it's a keeper or a tosser.
