New House Construction - Finished for Now & Happy Thanksgiving!!

Very exciting! It looks like things are moving along very quickly too. I would love to build a house and have it just the way I wanted it. I didn't know they could pour concrete wall like that...every basement I've seen has been block. That is cool.

We also went to close on our construction loan, which about gave me a heart attack to see the numbers for what we were borrowing! But all in the name of progress, I guess. :/

"THEY" say that getting a house loan is equal in stress to getting a divorce. That's the "heart attack" feeling you experienced.

I took a survey in class once that showed me to be the highest stressed student there since I had purchased three houses in as many years. I contended that after the stress and shock of the first house loan, the others are easy-peasy and NOT the least bit stressful.

Thanks for the photos! That is so cool! Now wait for the sub-floor - you can pace out your rooms and imagine the views from each room.
