DCT Car trailer
I know a single axle would do me fine but I wanted to follow the "buy right vs buy twice" rule. This will handle anything I need.

I can take some closer-up pics if that helps. It's got rust and the boards are beat up

Get used to bathing the wood in used oil. Boards will be well preserved.

Back in the day a rough one was 1200. Mine was stolen but I bought a nasty one for 400
And less rust.

Mine has 5200# axles. It was stolen couple years ago, surprised that a new one was $4500. Luckily the police were watching this thief for stealing trucks and made a visit when this trailer showed up. He told them, he paid $100 for it. One tire on that trailer is $100. IF I wanted to fix it up with new paint job-moron spray painted PART of the wood green-came up to $1800. By shopping parts out-& not painting it-fixed it for less than $200. He’s now a guest of government till 2022. Judge threw book at him-multiple loser.

Ironic post because mine was stolen also. Had a good thing going, paid 400, put 800 into the running gear and fenders but only used it a couple years.

Had a flight out. When I landed had a text from wife asking why I took the trailer. Told her, I didn’t call police. Rest is history. Bought mine in ‘08, trailers had doubled in price when I checked on replacement.

A neighbor's trailer was stolen. His place is not fenced, they just backed up, hitched up and it was gone. Our place is totally fenced and we have big dogs. Another neighbor is totally fenced and has big dogs. It seems to be a pretty good deterrent.
