That is trick by body shops. Yes, vehicle is worth more than restoring it. Then once into project "unexpected" things show up. Then it becomes a $$$$ pit. As you did not want to take a huge loss. With repairs, partially restored worth no more than truck was before it was touched.

Whoa NYB there is bad luck and then what's happening to you lol. The truck situation is a mind blower for sure, sounds like a full on disaster. Hopefully you can find your way through it without much more drama. Until then maybe try a garlic necklace lol.:fl

problem is if they already did any work to it you would still be out the money for that work. still ridiculous it isn't done by now.

do you happen to know how much more was done since this newest guy got it? know the back fenders were painted but not more than that.
