Went to the garden today and started picking the green beans. After I saw the black spider I was done. Went to inspect the cushaw pumpkin and after I watched the snake slither away I was done in the garden.

Does anyone have a good recipe for pomegranate jelly without using a huge amount of sugar. I picked all of the pomegranates but can't find a recipe without a ton of sugar.

Xylitol, algav or silver birch sweetener . What about honey.

The only thing I have heard of in what you mentioned is the honey. I'm thinking about using the honey because I have a bottle of unfiltered honey and I am so not a fan of 5- 7 1/2 cups of sugar

Good. Sugar has been one of my biggest problems for years.

I'm definitely going to use honey instead of sugar and I just have to hope it works out for me. My daughters fiance is really hooked on pomegranate jelly so hopefully mine will be a better and without all that diabetic coma waiting to happen .

What is making the pomegranate jelly and syrup so challenging for me is the fact that I haven't ever canned anything in my life so I'm just hoping I don't foul it up.

I'm seriously trying to not get so discouraged about this but with about 40 pounds of pomegranates to peel and juice this is taking forever. I've only done about 7 pomegranates and still have probably another 30 or more to go.
