We always grow the “Kaitlin variety” cabbages from Johnny’s and just like every other year; they were perfect again! No matter the seasonal differences, they are very consistent.
We both like cabbage but in most forms; it doesn’t like us unless it’s fermented! So yesterday we made this years Kraut. It’s an easy chore that don’t take up too much time and is something we’ll enjoy thruout the year. I’ve one jar to finish from last years and this won’t be ready for several months so it works out well.
