I said a few times. I hardly ever delete anything that I actually post but I sometimes type something up then wait a while and review whether I actually want to post it or not or maybe reword it. Any changes to what I post should be corrections, spelling or grammar.

Seldom would have worked for me better then a few times, but it has happened. Often when I started a post, left for a while, and returned to it something another poster addressed either was the same as my post or took me off at a tangent so much of the original post was moot and, therefore, deleted.

Other then those few times, I have no problem sticking my foot in my mouth or extracting it at a later date. Besides, I am too sweet to intentionally post (other than politics) things that would be controversial.

The biggest reason I have had for deleting a post is double postings. Did that just yesterday.

Oh, see - I thought this was about typing up something and then deleting or drastically editing it BEFORE posting it.

Oh, me too, Cane. I have never actually hit the post button, then decided to retract what I said. Except duplicates. My bigger problem is that I breathe wrong or something, and my whole long (and very thoughtful) post gets deleted by the evil genie that lives in my laptop, before I am even finished.

I think that is called hot keys. You accidentally hit something and it is .......gone.
