I keep admiring your greenhouse. How is it heated? I want to build one when I find my home. I have a collection of windows that ought to be a good start. LOL
It's not heated at all. However, it's connected to the main house and warmer than a standalone greenhouse. So far the plants inside (like citrus) are quite safe. When there is a forecast of very strong frost, I will still cover them with a few layers of gardening fleece.

The microgreen corner is the new cutie in the greenhouse.

I added some potting compost under the kitchen paper I used initially and hope they can grow a bit bigger than now.

I just bought 10kg Ryes for making the spawn (to grow mushroom). It should be a good idea to germinate some for our chickens.

It gets dark so soon — time for reading and having tea together.

Okay, the first batch of grain spawns (for Shiitake, pink oyster mushroom, and blue oyster mushroom) are done. They will stay in the boiler room for the coming weeks. Hopefully, the mycelium colonization could smoothly develop.

The smell is quite interesting: rye berries cooked with a few spoons of instant coffee.

I didn't have a pressure cooker, so I used the oven for sterilization.

A powerful frost arrived, and such a low temperature will last for several days.

However, in the unheated greenhouse, most of the plants are safe and sound.

Lavenders we rescued this summer from a local supermarket. They were in very poor shape, but now are thriving (and flowering in the winter?)

Long story short, I am just back from a battlefield. Anyway, I got the garden which I planted many things in the first three years after I moved to Germany. Now it will start from zero again.

I decided to help my husband clean and kind of rebuild the house in Cologne, where my father-in-law lives. Because of some "miracles," the person who ruined this place moved to somewhere very far from us. Thank God.

Battlefield for the coming few days - I will clean here up and simply decorate it for Christmas for my father-in-law. It's sad when I can't find a clean towel or clean cloth in the house.

I gave up today to clean this stove, but I will make it tomorrow.

Some little progress today - at least the surface is clean, without any oil, trash, whatever

After all, tomorrow is a new day.

WOW , you two are so nice to help Dad get a handle on this mess. Good job cleaning the kitchen surfaces. Looks so much better.

he's not going to be able to find anything! lol it's ok. he'll get over it eventually...
He is the one who always cleans and organizes everything for the family. In fact, he is totally opposite to my own father, who was a party animal. Before dementia got him, he did a lot of gardening (my gardening journey started when he bought me 6 young strawberry plants), toy railway, and genealogy research after retirement.

The house is ruined by a slob (monster level), which is no longer our problem. :bow
