Did he do a good job? I ended up with enough cherries to make a half pie..I guess I will have to get a bird net.

I have tried bird net and found the birds still pecked at fruit through the netting, birds often got stuck and injured in the netting, and the netting was so tangled in leaves and branches that it was toast once I got it off the tree.

I found that my boyfriend did an excellent job keeping the birds off the trees. Of course, he was moved around from time to time to fool the birds. Also, I did have another (huge) cherry tree elsewhere on the property that the birds made full use of without my consent. Perhaps they were too full to feel a need to tangle with my guy.

Pictures are super easy to upload now, so get them submitted to this thread. We can't use pictures with people in them unfortunately, but your recent, seasonal pictures are great!
