I've been letting these spread for many years, they have overwhelmed everything else & seem to be the apex vegetation in their locations.
I wish I could take credit for those patches, but other than transplanting the few that I inherited with the house & letting them happen, there was little effort on my part.
DW loves those "blackberries" for decoration, soon we'll have enough for several arrangements... and plants to give away. Weather permitting, I hope to give away some mature Tiger Lily bulbs this Fall as well.Sometimes called toad lily. I have them in several spots around the yard. They do spread pretty easy by seed. What is a blackberry lilly???
