This is a volunteer that came with me when I moved to the golf course home. Its now about 3.5 feet tall. Don't know what it is but its so pretty. I did have to break out the Sevin when it was younger, cus something chewed it up nice and neat.

I can't imagine a time when I'm not fascinated by the intricacies of life in the garden - I love the tiny details. Many years ago my Mother in Law showed up with a bunch of twigs and told me they were hibiscus. In the years since, I've been rewarded with a fence line of beautiful pink and white flowers helped along of course by neighborhood bees.
