meet you at greensboro at 5 am then. take you to a restaurant that has the best chicken egg cheese biscuit and potato wedges....then for lunch bbq in Lexington
pulled pork with hush puppies and collared greens. for dinner back down to thomasville for more bbq baby back ribs and coleslaw and beans with a slice of sweet potato pie..

will get you back on the next red eye home before hubby notices you gone... well you might want to stay to see whats on the menu on Tuesday, Wednesday. oh heck stay though till the new year...

shrimp and ribeyes are on sale this week.... at least i can watch you make your tamales and salsa

Flight delayed, geese on run way. Got there 7:30. Didn't see anyone, so came back home. :)

Stewardesses kept muttering something about "dang Yankees"....

So what are the ones you eat ?
So, you have stirred up some batter for cornbread but it's still too dang hot at 6pm to turn the oven on. If'n you turn that dial, the kitchen is going to heat up to where you can't even be comfortable eating your dinner sitting out on the back steps!

What to do?

There's that big skillet with fat in it from making cracklins last night. You turn it on and begin dropping spoonfuls of cornbread dough in when that deep fat is hot. A few minutes later --- hush puppies!
