And here we are again. The voilets are wild and the buttonweed is particularly button-y. So I really should seed while it is warm but in the case of such hard to kill weeds taking nutrients down to their roots it is also the best time to get after violets to weaken them for spring. Here we can plant late but I am done with fescue as the st aug is finally gaining ground. Props to TitanRX though - I have never had fescue last as long under the trees as it did this year as it made it past our hot July and August before it disappeared. Mainly because it rained basically every day in July.
