I've done that. Except whenever I try and play "Where did I go wrong, and where do I have to go back to to try and set things right?" each decision I have ever made seems inevitable from the ones I made before, and I reach the conclusion I could NEVER have gone any other way than I did, and that "putting things right" would have to involve time travel to go back and make sure I was never born in the first place.

all i can say when i read your thoughts on this topic is that it was a hole i was in for a long time and it took me a lot of effort to get out but i did get there.

I find for myself it's much more beneficial to focus on my future rather than dwell on the past.
