Oh my! Those are beautiful. Just noticed 2 berries in our beds starting to turn.. am very far behind you, but cant wait!!

Thanks. :) I'm not sure they'll last all the way until winter!

Mostly it was for practice. I have over 30 tomato plants out in the garden including an entire row of Roma. If they all survive and produce... I don't have enough freezer space for it all.

We learned that it is not a good idea to press the popcorn pan into service as a water bath canner. You know that hole in the side that the pin on the lid fits into? It kind of prevents filling it up with water. ;)

Next time we'll set up the outdoor gas stovetop and avoid steaming up the kitchen.

Yummy! They look delicious!!!!

Mine are rocking now too... so much so I've made jam, strawberry bread, a strawberry and apple tart for 6 people, strawberry shortcake and strawberry stuffed french toast. Just picked another gallon of berries tonight! I LOVE everbearing strawberries. Now to mention the taste is soooooooooo much better then those huge grocery store ones. :p
