Sweet Wild Syringa

She's a beauty.

Mary

Thanks, I think so too (of course).
She has gotten a bit chubbier since she's been living the domestic life, and I have had to scale back on her feed, which has made her sort of sad, haha.

Kid#2 was over the other day and described her as "Potato".
I amended it to "Sweet Potato" :p.

@thistlebloom she looks amazing and is doing so well. Her new bridle is PERFECT. So glad you have each other.

Me too. For a horse that I wasn't deliberately looking for, then serendipitously finding her to be mine, she has captured me completely.

I've had horses my whole life and have had deep connections to nearly all of them, but she and I are different. Maybe I have finally matured, I don't know, but she is very special to me, and observing her growing trust in me really humbles me.

For color I love leopard spotted Appaloosas. I had a blanket marked Appaloosa, but never a leopard App, always wanted one.

It was interesting to me to learn that many mustangs don't get adopted because they're bays. It's considered too common and they get passed over. That was probably one of the reasons Syringa was a third strike horse.
Folks are more apt to go for paints, grullos, roans etc.

We all like what we like.
