The Moose!

Christmas morning this little guy and his mom were in our woods. Ma Moose kept her head in the underbrush and I was in my slippers, so didn't maneuver around for a good photo. The calf obligingly walked across the lawn.

It's been quite awhile since we've been visited. I liked the timing of this one. :)

They stopped by to wish you a merry Christmas :love

I'm curious, Thistle'.

You say that with horses, you are partial to bays. There are patterns to color descriptions but, perhaps, just as a dominant color:

How would you describe "moose color?"

Good question...they do have varying shades, sometimes they are a dark liver chestnut, but if I had to put a horse color label on the young one in the picture, I'd call that winter coat grullo.

Thistle do you know how to crop a photo ? I would crop photo down to just moose

What, you don't like all the trees?
Yes, I can crop. Thanks for asking

The problem is, when my pictures are enlarged you can see how blurry they are.

I'd like to blame my cheap phone camera, but it's probably me.

Oh wait... I think I will blame my cheap phone camera. Yeah.
