I get that. When I fall asleep on the couch, I do so sitting up (which I used to not be able to do), even though the couch is long enough for me to stretch out and lie down. I learned in part because the cat lays claim to the other side of the couch regularly, and I decided that learning to sleep upright was easier and safer than constantly risking having my femoral arteries shredded if the cat found make occupying his place!

I saw a video this morning that reminded me of our old cat. She was medium sized fluffy white cat. She LOVED to ride in the car. Well she develop a habit of sneaking in the ups truck to go for a drive. It was common site to see the ups truck pull out of the driveway and go a few hundred feet before screeching to a halt and then we’d see a fluffy white cat being pitched out the side door. She would do this almost every time he had a delivery. I don’t think she stopped truck hopping until she was 14 or 15.
