Mary, be careful what you wish for...my beautiful view comes with subzero temps and snow for probably 6 months of every year. i was considering this fact as i watched a beautiful sunrise on my drive to work this morning...i thought "if I had my camera I could get a pic for my TEG friends...but if I wasnt FAST in getting that picture I could also get frostbite..." it was -5. Plus wind.

I like each and every one of those winter scenes, NwMtGardener, especially those icicles. Nature in winter is so much more lovely when seen from my window or yours. It is getting out there that I'm not too keen on.

We had a couple of inches last night along with plenty of wind and drifting. DH decided he wanted to eat in town after he got the shoveling done so I got to drive through the mess. What fun!
