now they have frost warnings for most coming nights, but for sure next Monday evening/morning.

i'm going to be checking the beans later today just for a few pods of those i can bring in. windy and cold after three days of 80+.

and the first mention of snow possible mixing with rain Sunday evening.

yep, it's done. :(

BEAUTIFUL day here today! 56*, breezy, sunny and clear. :)
Last night was horrible. Twisters spinning off all around as the edge of the storm passed by.
Had a tree down across the driveway this AM & had to wait till the sun came up to cut it up.
Cell svs is out. Home phone is out. Got to work, power is out. Got a generator hooked up - computers and scales running... coffee machine and well pump - not so much. :hit Which... I guess is ok.. without the coffee, I won't be bothered quite so often that the toilet can't flush.

It wasn't HUGE, only about 6" or so. It was COVERED in poison oak  and I'm on vaca next week.... I'm going to be SO MAD if I spend the whole time scratching.

COLD Again. At least no rain. Near freezing 33 this morning. Hope to be in the 50's for the weekend. S.N.O.W. edging it's way closer. :(

Here's a little song that should help with the rain in the upper MidWest. Don't remember, I may have sung it before the western droughts started several years ago ...

♪ ♫
It ain't gonna rain no more, no more
It ain't gonna rain no more
How in the heck can I wash my neck
If it ain't gonna rain no more

Oh, it isn't going to rain anymore, anymore
It isn't going to rain anymore
The grammar's good, but what a bore
So we'll sing it like before

It ain't gonna rain no more, no more
It ain't gonna rain no more
How in the heck can I wash my neck
If it ain't gonna rain no more. ♪ ♫

:) Steve
know any other lines to that song ;)?
