No. I guess I don't even know what it tastes like.

It takes maybe 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon to a pie. It is a flavor that people can't identify and it adds a nuance of flavor. It's also good in pound cake and some cookies.

I'm not much of a fan of nutmeg.

Example: I didn't know that I liked quiche until I found out that you don't have to put nutmeg in it .

Mace is a little different. I've used it in cookies. Ginger is a favorite. I should keep the spices on a lower key but ... gingerbread cookies (with mace)!!

Had a great weekend I even invented my own pie..... We did cheat and used the pre made crusts just put them on train to city trip was way to short wish i didnt have to work this afternoon
