I read that, too, not to boil the lids.  I Will have DD's check for them at estate sales.  I don't care much for going to them, but They do.
			
			I love garlic! I like to cook gourmet dinners and when the recipe calls for 2 garlic cloves I always put in a whole bulb!Here is the finished product, 5 bulbs turned into a 1/2 pint's worth. Plastic lid won't rust, ha, ha!View attachment 70753

Time for me to fire up the canner again. I have a long list of things I’d like to can. Sweet potatoes is first, because they’ve been taking up counter space for weeks.
